I really like this idea as an SEO trainer. Normal SEO tools show Google rankings, but they don’t show how AI platforms like ChatGPT or Perplexity talk about brands. That’s a big gap for marketers.

In today’s AI world, brand mentions are like the new backlinks. If your brand is not mentioned in AI answers, people may not even know you exist. First Answer is very useful because it shows when your brand is mentioned, how you compare with competitors, and where you can do better.

I will recommend this to the hundreds of students (I promise) I train, because learning about brand mentions in AI will soon be as important as learning about backlinks.

Really like the concept of tracking brand presence inside AI tools.
Does it let you track how competitors show up in AI tools as well, or is it mainly designed for monitoring your own brand?

Yes, you can definitely track competitors too. The platform shows not only how your brand is mentioned, but also how often and in what context your competitors appear across AI tools. That way you can benchmark side by side and spot gaps or opportunities. In fact, I’d say the competitor comparison is one of the strongest points, it really helps uncover where you’re ahead and where others might be gaining ground.
