From SEO to AI Visibility: How will brands adapt?
Over the past months, I’ve been building something I’ll be launching here on Product Hunt very soon.
The starting point was a simple observation: Search is no longer just Google.
People are turning to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Bing Copilot and others AIs and making decisions directly there.
That means a brand can suddenly “disappear” from the customer journey, simply because it’s not being surfaced in these new answers.
With our upcoming launch, we’ve been testing ways to track this shift:
When a brand is mentioned
How it’s being described
Which sources are being cited
And who else shows up as a competitor in the same space
Do you think companies will treat AI visibility with the same urgency they once gave SEO? Or will they only react once the drop in discoverability becomes impossible to ignore?
Looking forward to the discussion, and to sharing the launch with you soon 🚀

I think most offices will wait until their traffic drops before they react, just like they did with mobile first SEO year ago.
I though urgency depends on the business. E-commerce site might jump on their quick than , say, local shop..
