About
This is Shahriar Hasan. I have 7 years of experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist and currently hold a strategic role at weDevs. I bring hands-on expertise in growth hacking & full-funnel marketing. To me, marketing is easy, but growth is where the real work begins. Running ads is simple, but achieving a strong ROI takes skill. Targeting is common, but building a loyal community is what creates long-term success. Anyone can create content, but I focus on content that resonates deeply and drives action. I believe the best marketing strikes a balance between sales and brand. I position products in a way that makes users feel they truly need them. I’m a builder of growth, trust, and long-term value.

Are votes from direct links or social media hurting Product Hunt launches?
product hunt wants to make sure votes are organic and reflect genuine interest from the community. when a large number of upvotes come from the same source (especially through direct links shared on social media or whatsapp), the system may flag those as unnatural patterns. in some cases, those votes get soft-removed or not counted toward your ranking.
SaaS or Platform-Dependent App, Which One Should You Build?
One thing I ve noticed while building products, creating a full SaaS gives you more control, but it s usually harder to market. You need to build everything from scratch: the product, the traffic, and the trust. On the other hand, building apps for platforms like Shopify, WordPress, or Chrome gives you access to their huge user base. These platforms already have traffic and credibility, so your app can grow faster through app stores, integrations, or community mentions. But there s a trade-off. Platform apps are easier to launch and grow, but you re also more dependent on their rules and updates. One policy change or system update can impact your entire business.
