👋 Hi Everyone! I'm Steven (Austin-based founder)
... Previously, I founded two start-ups, and I'm current working on a third: Agora - communication tool for student organizations (made pretty much every mistake a first-time founder could make) Coin Clear - Acorns for Bitcoin (acquired by a competitor) Steve - AI financial coach ( launching on PH this Sunday Aug 10) Would love to get any and all feedback on what I'm building. And please let me know if you'd like the same from me! Also ... ... Austin, let's chat! It's always great meeting other folks

Wearing many hats and loving it — builder, teammate
... Folks I m Mindaugas 10 years experienced software engineer who thrives in startup chaos. Through the years I ve spent working in fast-moving teams shipping frontend features and backend services, talking product, or setting up CI/CD. I kinda love it that way. I just left my company due to contract expiration and looking for a more challenging adventure. Startups are where I feel most at home not because things are perfect, but because I get to build things that ... ... matter, quickly, and with people who care. I enjoy the ownership, the uncertainty, the speed... and yeah, even the bugs at 2 AM sometimes. Right now, I m looking to connect with other builders, and startup folks

Will HR positions survive the rise of AI?
... PAUL(@mosymimi): I think Human Resource department should be converted to to AI Resource Manager department . This is what i would have done: I would make my HR train my AI agents like you'd onboard interns use HR folks to emotionally QA your AI replies. I would make the HRs overlook all prompts that our employees are using to track if they're breaking rules. I would put them in charge to train the AI for flagging rogue interns ... ... point has been made by many already, but it really is the crux of the matter. Feels like we re entering an era where good HR will be defined less by policies, more by empathy, coaching, and the trust folks

Raspberry Pi or other kit for beginner coder, OR subscription to Lovable or Bolt?
... think she did stuff in Swift playground etc. then I recently shared @Lovable and @bolt.new with her so she's excited about that, but she's also asked for a @Raspberry Pi 5 kit. For those more tecchy folks in this community, is a Raspberry Pi kit a good investment? (she's about to turn 11). Or should I get her a paid subscription to one of the AI coders instead so she can just vibe code things ... ... delight? Or are there other resources folks

Fieldy Hands On Review: Can this AI Wearable help my ADHD brain remember tasks and save my marriage?
... things often or getting easily distracted has been a tough one for me that no amount of calendar reminders, notes, stickies, post-its, and alarms can solve. So when Fieldy launched calling themselves an IRL Granola targeted for ADHD folks to help them remember, I knew I had to try it out. Note: I did Hunt Fieldy but I paid for the product myself. I was not sponsored for this review. I was gifted a yearly subscription however, to help ... ... first impression of the actual device was that the plastic finish felt a little underwhelming, especially if you re used to the polish of Apple or Nothing devices. This made me want to hide the device vs

What are your reasons for using Product Hunt??
... startup, my senior introduced me to Product Hunt when they announced we d be launching a new feature, and I was tasked with managing the launch activities. The next two months were a whirlwind, joining communities, connecting with folks on LinkedIn, and hustling to spread the word. Our hard work paid off when we snagged the #4 Product of the Day spot! That day, the whole team was glued to a Teams call from noon until 9 PM, everyone doing ... ... hear that our paths crossed some way :) Comment from Manu Goel(@manu_goel2): I have picked up some good feedback and grounded advice on PH ...that I put into action straight away. So, great community for interacting with folks

Indie Hackers & Techies: How are you building your marketing skills prepping for a launch?

Or if you are a non-technical founder, what would you recommend to the folks that do not necessarily have the skills yet? Elephant in the room of non-technical vibe coders - Vibe Debugging
... recently got fascinated by how powerful vibe coding has become, so I started lurking around Reddit to see what folks have been building. Instead of seeing product demos, I see an equal number of complaints about how users run into a wall when their app is 90% complete. They start burning credits and watching AI running in circles. The frustration is felt all over the place, ranging from Supabase auth problems to Webhook misconfigurations to Deployment failures ... ... have a technical background, and the learning curve of software engineering is pretty steep. It would be too much of an ask to investigate stacktrace and come up with sound debugging instructions. They are not comfortable with the VS
