TensorBlock Forge
Hey, thanks for your support. Openrouter uses BYOK must specify the key per provider, and Forge supply a unified API including a single key, also, you can distribute multiple Forge keys with different provider scopes. IIUC, Openrouter BYOK is only used as a fallback if:
Your usage exceeds what’s allocated under OpenRouter’s own API key pool.
You specifically configure it that way (e.g., fallback only if quota fails).
You cannot use it as the default / primary method to route calls directly and exclusively through your own keys.
Also, we support embedding models already, and image models on the way
