TensorBlock Forge
Hey ProductHunt!
We're so excited to announce our newest product.
🚀 Introducing TensorBlock Forge – the unified AI API layer for the AI agent era.
At TensorBlock, we’re rebuilding AI infrastructure from the ground up. Today’s developers juggle dozens of model APIs, rate limits, fragile toolchains, and vendor lock-in — just to get something working. We believe AI should be programmable, composable, and open — not gated behind proprietary walls.
Forge is our answer to that.
🔗 One API, all providers – Connect to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, Cohere, and more.
🛡️ Security built in – All API keys are encrypted at rest, isolated per user, and never shared across requests.
⚙️ Infra for the agent-native stack – Whether you're building LLM agents, copilots, or multi-model chains, Forge gives you full-stack orchestration without the glue code.
💻 And yes — we’re open source.
We believe critical AI infrastructure should be transparent, extensible, and owned by the community. Fork us, build with us, or self-host if you want full control.
We’re just getting started. Come help us shape the future of AI agent infra.

Triforce Todos
The idea of unifying all major AI providers under one API. Makes life way easier for devs. One suggestion, though: clearer docs or quick-start examples would help first-time users get up and running faster. Still, this is a solid step toward simplifying AI infrastructure. Great launch!

@abod_rehman Thanks so much, really appreciate the support! Totally agree that clear onboarding is key. We actually have a visual walkthrough on the landing and login pages showing it only takes ~3 lines of code to get started (with highlights), plus full usage instructions on the product page for using the Forge key. That said, we’re always looking to improve. Let us know if anything’s unclear!

@abod_rehman Thanks for the great suggestion!
We currently have a concise guide at https://tensorblock.co/api-docs, and we’re actively working on improving it with more examples and better onboarding flow. Stay tuned, more updates soon!

TensorBlock Forge
@tanjum Thanks for the great question! Forge handles latency and fallback through a priority-based routing layer with built-in health checks and timeout thresholds. For each request, it evaluates available endpoints (whether remote APIs or self-hosted models) based on their real-time availability, response latency, and rate limits.
If a preferred model fails or times out, Forge will automatically fallback to the next eligible provider in the routing pool — maintaining reliability without interrupting the user experience. We’re also working on exposing routing policies so developers can customize behavior based on use case (e.g. always prefer local > remote, or fastest available).
Happy to dive deeper if you’re curious!
