What’s the weirdest pivot you’ve ever made?
... reading about the origins of Slack recently. It started as an internal chat tool for a team building a multiplayer game called Glitch. The game flopped but the internal comms tool turned out to be the real gold. So they shut down the game and shipped the chat, the rest is startup legend. Should AI-written posts be labeled?
... sure if this is a wild take, but What if platforms like LinkedIn started labeling AI-written posts? Not to shame them. Just to give people choice. Some want clean, fast, optimized content. Others want messier, human, original stuff... But when everything blends together, neither group really gets what they came for. I don t think we can or should avoid LLMs. But I do think we need to preserve the thing that actually makes writing matter, which ... ... creativity and originality

How do you ensure equal opportunities in your team?
... another example of injustice. TL;DR: DJT is warning big companies and not wanting them to hire Indian workers. I am curious: how do you make sure no one is disadvantaged in your workplace due to race, gender, religion, origin, or other personal factors? And what do you do when a "higher instance" wants you to stick to some kind of inequality? There are lots of great ideas, smart people, and valuable discussions. The thing is... I still feel kind of invisible. I ve posted a few times. 💡 What problem did you originally set out to solve with your product?
... Totally agree that the PH spike is often short-lived without a follow-up plan especially for SEO, which compounds way slower. Excited to see how Boringlaunch helps fill that gap. Subscribed! Comment from Baltazar Torres(@baltazar_torres): I originally set out to solve a problem I kept running into as a founder: getting honest, actionable feedback on an MVP without breaking the bank. Most existing tools were either too expensive, too generic, or gave surface-level insights that didn ...

Have you ever pivoted your business / idea? 💡

I Finally Fixed ChatGPT Image Ratio with Stable Diffusion Outpainting
... crops, white padding, or manual resizing. So I built a fix. Here s the little workflow I came up with, it combines smart stretching + outpainting (using Stable Diffusion) to get perfect 16:9 images: How it works: Takes the original image from ChatGPT Stretches it (only slightly, no weird distortion) Figures out what pixels are still missing Uses Stable Diffusion to outpaint and fill the edges Outputs a clean 1920x1080 image, no loss, no borders, no fuss Why this matters ... ... Pravin Mehta(@pravin_meh66451): This is clutch. I ve wasted way too much time resizing and praying stuff doesn t get cropped weird. Would love to peek under the hood how are you keeping the outpainting consistent with the original

... Remember when products designed for consumers unexpectedly revolutionized how businesses operate? For example, Discord started as a chat app for gamers but is now essential for remote teams. Is marketing becoming too mechanical in the age of AI?
... heavy lifting, where does that leave creative instinct, brand storytelling, or emotional connection? For those of you working in branding, content, or strategy: How do you use AI as a tool without letting it drown out your original thinking? Will creativity lose its meaning in the age of AI?
... better at creating art, writing, and design, creativity itself might lose its meaning. It feels like a valid concern because: AI can produce beautiful art and music faster than a human ever could, Many creative fields are shifting from original creation to "curating" or "editing" AI outputs, Instant generation often replaces slow, imperfect human exploration, Younger generations are growing up with AI co-creation as the norm, not the exception. I wonder: Will true creativity still matter when "good enough ... ... agree Comment from Parth Ahir(@parth_ahir): @mr_justin_woo very well put ! Is it morally right to cheat with AI? Contradictory products deal with this idea in different ways.
... article on TechCrunch discussing Cluely (created by Chungin Roy Lee and Neel Shanmugam ). TL;DR: The AI tool, originally developed to cheat on software engineering interviews, now helps users cheat on exams, sales calls, and job interviews through a hidden in-browser window. And now has raised $5+ million. A lot of people started talking about whether this was morally right. On the other hand, we have tools that try to prevent "AI cheating," e.g. Sherlock . The truth is that ... ... companies want to avoid candidates from using AI in their interviews, then do an in-person interview. Someone who is going to cheat will find a way to cheat. I think this Sherlock is actually worse than the original
