Being a 6 figure personal brand

Hi All, Just thought I would pop on here and share my remote work/freelance journey for anyone considering it :) Before I start, I just wanted to say that I got really lucky with most things, I was in the right place at the right time and was fortunate enough to use those to my advantage. When I started on my remote/freelance journey, I tried a lot: marketing agencies, companies in the educational sector, even helping a relative on their own endeavours, amongst others. However, now, I finally got some success in my design journey working with " and E-commerce firms. Here are a few of my favourite sources/advice that helped me get to this point: https://hunter.io/ - perfect for finding leads and people that you should get in touch with. The power of cold emailing - this was the primary way I landed most of my clients, just be honest and display to them how you can help them and what value you provide. Get involved in groups - it is better to have people critique you and help you improve than you figuring it out for yourself. Track everything. Like you would track your calories or your finances, you should track your open rate, response rate and signing rate. You must do this so that you can go back and tweak things. My favourite tool for this is Google Analytics and https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com... - this will help you use campaigns to see where each person comes from. Find your faults and improve. It is all about improving, find where you went wrong and make amendments. If that is changing up your methodology or finding a new niche, make sure that you have the ability to pivot and find that 'sweet-spot for demand' Linkedin is an amazing resource so long as you brand yourself well. Make sure that your profile shows who YOU are and people will come and connect. It is all about branding yourself! You will have clients tell you that you are not good enough or they are not satisfied. That's fine, maybe there is never a way to please them. However, if you know that you were the issue have a friendly chat with them about how you can improve. They will give you some incredible insight, trust me. Get verified, I was fortunate enough to get added into the Webflow Proferioanal Partner directory which gave me a huge boost of clients from startups to publicly traded companies. Getting showcased on one of these platforms is always a great way to build credibility! Set up mediums and channels that represent who you are. For me, this was primarily a Linkedin and a portfolio website to help display my expertise. If anyone is interested, here is my personal site: https://www.rohan-malhotra.com/ Have a great day!

Time-wasters for designers

Calling all creatives! My team is brainstorming ways to improve work for creative teams and would love your input. What are the things that cause time waste and hurt your day-to-day as a designer? We've been interviewing top designers individually and have some insane responses, once we'd get your feedback we'll post all responses here. Also, if you mention an issue/idea, who knows, we might build it as a side-hussle :)
