Can makers personally reach out to their product subscribers before launch?
I understand that ProductHunt automatically notifies subscribers when a product launches, but I'm curious about whether there's a way for makers to personally connect with people who've subscribed to their upcoming launch. As makers, we put a lot of effort into building our subscriber base for a successful launch, and while the automatic notifications are great, I believe personal outreach could help build stronger connections and engagement. Does anyone know: - If we can see who our subscribers are? - If there's a way to communicate with them directly? - If this is even allowed within ProductHunt's guidelines? Would love to hear from experienced makers who've successfully managed their pre-launch subscriber relationships or from anyone who knows ProductHunt's stance on this. Thanks in advance for your insights!
Don't do it just for the points!
Seeing a lot of members just participating in the discussions with just yes/no, very short meaningless answers. I believe that it doesn't help in any way. Most of us start a discussion for seeking some value out of this community and I hope more people understand that and contribute positively. A lot of us comes from a variety of background and we have our own experiences to share, so a lot of that can be helpful. I urge people to participate in discussion where they can really contribute and provide value.
