After going through dozens of applications for notes, I stopped at workflowy. For me, this is the easiest way to organize notes.

Journaling is a valuable given experience. I can keep track of my day-to-day psyche and thought process.

Simple is Best. I've been used this for 10 years.

The only organization system I’ve found that doesn’t make me choose when to make something a document, list, or item. I can just type everything in as I think of it, and make the structure organically as I go, as simply as pressing tab to indent. Very simple to use, but lacking many of the bells and whistles of other products. The devs continue to work on it, but it’s slow going.
