WisFile is a local, free AI file tool for professionals, researchers, and students to auto-rename, categorize, and organize documents like papers or projects, turning chaos into clarity securely.
Same here. I often found myself drowning in random filenames after downloading tons of research papers and contract reports — and that’s where the idea for WisFile was born.
We built WisFile as a 100% local, free AI file manager that automatically renames and organizes your DOCX and PDF documents right on your device. No cloud uploads. No data leaks. Just a smarter way to keep your files under control.
We’re launching soon on Product Hunt, and I’d love your feedback or ideas. Are there any specific pain points you’d love us to solve in file management?

Hey, I just wanted to try it out because it's free and has a local version, so why not? It sounds like it would be useful for me. I tried installing it, but I'm stuck at "We are accelerating the download...". I've had it running for well over 5 hours now, but it still doesn't work. (Windows build)
