Our team has been active on LinkedIn for about a year now and we found a lot of success and interesting content there. (Fake hiring & inspirational stories aside)
However, the platform itself is a bit of a mess. Thereβs no easy and convenient way to segment your connections and it gets worse when you keep connecting with more and more people. They all kind of blend into one.
Our two devs had enough so we decided to scratch our own itch. We made this little extension called TidyTag and want to share it with the world.

@johan_cutych I've noticed that LinkedIn does a complete refreshes when I'm navigating the platform. Not sure if it's TidyTag but it's the only thing I've changed recently.
Love that we made this happen. Scratching your own itch is such an underrated way of building a product as you instantly know you're solving an actual problem. LinkedIn really is a mess and talking to over 100 people confirmed that for us.
