I’m Nick, one of the co-founders of TicketLock, a sports ticketing startup founded at Columbia University.
We built TicketLock to solve what we think is one of the most frustrating parts of buying sports tickets. Today, as a fan, you face two bad options: either chase early presales and lotteries where even a win can leave you holding seats to a disappointing matchup or scrambling to unload them if plans change, or wait until a high-profile matchup is confirmed and face sky-high resale prices.
We launched our proof of concept in February at the Miami Open, and we’re now live for the Club World Cup Final and US Open Final.
