A UI feedback tool that your users love to use!

Roastnest is an open-source feedback tool that lets users drop feedback directly on UI elements — with automatic screenshots, screen recordings, device info, logs, and more. It is built for PMs, Devs, and design teams.
Hey Hunters!
I’m Satyam, one of the makers of Roastnest.
Story:
Yash and I started Roastnest out of the frustration we faced at our previous jobs. I was building a product from scratch at a startup, where we struggled to get useful feedback using existing tools. Meanwhile, Yash was working at an MNC as a support engineer, where he lacked the context behind the problems users were facing.
Problems:
Lack of feedback — and especially lack of context — always leads to delays in product development and improvement. Sometimes, the problem doesn’t get fixed at all, or worse, it doesn’t even get noticed. The biggest reasons are:
You ask users too many questions.
You make giving feedback boring.
You don’t reward users for sharing feedback.
You don’t provide updates to users.
Solutions:
We’re building a visual feedback tool that helps you get honest feedback, reduce the feedback cycle time, make giving feedback fun, and increase user trust in your product. Some key features:
Works directly on your website.
Users can submit feedback in just 3 clicks.
Users get rewarded for sharing feedback.
Users can track their feedback and chat with your team.
You get the full context to resolve issues faster.
You can send feedback instantly to platforms like Slack.
Today, we’re launching our open-source React SDK and dashboard.
Future:
We’re planning to build a browser extension for internal teams, design new feedback widgets to make the experience fun, and improve the feedback reward system.
We’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback — and yes, even roasts. 😄
