The idea is great, we use the social wall at events at our stands, displayed on a tv and is a great way to show what we are doing quickly instead of long videos etc.
However, the execution is not quite there. I have had problems with some post not pulling through and being left with a "posted on LinkedIn" message instead of the asset (image/video) from the post so cannot display them on the social wall as look unprofessional.
Also, videos are not playing when the wall is in display mode, this just doesn't look as good as if they did play.
The customer service is terrible. They claim to have looked into the issues and said they assets not pulling through is a LinkedIn issue and that they have looked into both issues and nothing they can do. Therefore, the platform does not work properly and they don't know how to fix it.
We pay monthly and they said they would refund us the first month subscription fee due to the issues. We had not received anything and a few weeks later I asked about the refund and they said they can refund us and stop our subscription. This was not what was said originally and we didn't want to cancel subscription as the platform is good for events, even if it has it's issues.
Also, the customer service advisor "Dylan" is very rude and not helpful. Ignored quote a few of my messages and was blunt with me. Would recommend but be aware of issues and poor customer service.
