Musixmatch alternatives

Originally I liked it very much, but it has seemingly morphed into a site for trash masquerading as music. I just found out it was originally constructed as a hip hop-based forum but for lack of a real rock 'n roll alternative forum site, it grew to encompass all kinds of music & quasi-music. Im looking for an alternative geared more to rhe true 60's/70's roots of r & r.

Social is the way forward for music and Anthems are hitting right where it counts. A super slick and intuitive way to keep on top of what your friends are listening to in a format that we're all familiar with - insta-style discovery. (Also love their daily feature centred around topics for totally fresh content.) Definitely the answer I've been looking for and have found so many great tunes since using them. It definitely saves the hassles of peer pressure, keeps your creativity personal until you are ready to publish it for all. Great concept to create on the go, while listening to other music to find some inspiration.
