💼 Just explored Long—and it’s a breath of fresh air in the world of startup investing. It strips away the gatekeeping and hype that usually surrounds early-stage deals, and replaces it with something rare: access and fairness. What really stood out to me is the permissionless approach. Anyone, not just VCs or insiders, can support ambitious startups from day one. That’s a big shift—and honestly, a necessary one. More transparency, more opportunities, more people involved in shaping the next wave of innovation. The platform feels designed for those who believe in long-term impact rather than quick exits. It’s simple, clean, and focused on empowering both founders and early backers. That alignment of values is what makes Long special. Cool Idea with high potential I just sign with my x account and was able to launch a test on LONG for free in a single click. From what I understand It requires to have some social setup and launch tweet in order to engage community members which are mainly on X. Excited to see where it will go.

Phenomenal product! Give me exposure to very interesting companies to invest in. I think it's a paradigm shift for founders and investors.

I tested Long by creating a project, but there’s no option to delete or manage it afterward - not even when logged in with the same X account. It creates a token using your name and logo, but gives you zero control over it. Feels exploitative at best, and dangerously close to a scam. There is no reply button to your reply, so I have to edit. How do I delete the AICHIKI name from the crypto places? If Long has a button to create / upload and such it should also have a button to remove and update and such. Basic UX. Not to mention GDPR.

Hey — appreciate you testing Long. I actually tried to DM you right after your test project, but your X account is locked and there’s no LinkedIn, so couldn’t follow up.

A few important points:

Long is just a UI for a trustless, decentralized protocol. We don’t own or control the tokens — they’re immutably deployed onchain. That said, we actively monitor for scams and can block misleading tokens on the front end.
To prove a project is legit, founders are expected to link a tweet or site after launching. If there's no public signal, we treat it as an unlabeled test.
Launching is free — you’re welcome to run more experiments.
