Haha yeah I agree this would’ve gone viral before New Year. But I didn’t want to wait another 6 months to ship it. I’ll definitely push it again at the end of the year!
And don’t worry I made 3 different cards, so at least one should be safe to share

Very interesting but very sensitive information to share! I would definitely pay for an open source desktop app that runs a local LLM for the analysis.

@rguignar Thanks Robin! Totally get the concern privacy is everything here. GPTRecap runs entirely client side for the free version, nothing is ever uploaded. For premium features, it uses OpenAI just for the analysis. But I don’t store anything.
That said, I'll consider offering an open source desktop version so users can self host or run local LLMs. Appreciate the nudge, definitely something I’ll explore!
