Hello friends! 👋 I’m Jason Curry, a co-founder of Continuum. My team and I are happy to finally be launching our 100% full-featured (and FREE) product to you after 18 months of so much hard work by our global team of developers, designers, creators, and other contributors. We set out with a big vision. To be the global vocational school for self-learners entering and growing their remote careers. We did our research and interviewed a lot of people to discover the biggest pain points and obstacles learners faced on their journey. It’s very likely you are familiar with many of them. 1. Not everyone knows what they want to do for a living. 2. Education is expensive. 3. It can be hard to make a living while studying. Our beliefs, in response to these problems, are: 1. Education should begin with discovery, especially with so many new fields and facets of work, technologies, and tools coming out every day. 2. Education is a fundamental human right. It should be free. And companies which profit from an educated workforce, are the logical party to carry the cost. 3. A form of UBI (universal basic income) Continuum has taken a substantial first step in manifesting this vision through the web and mobile launch of our learn-to-earn platform. Our platform is FREE for learners and content creators. Better than that, we actually reward learners with crypto and proof of completion NFTs for finishing courses and engaging in discussions. The purpose is to create a self-sustaining ecosystem of educators, learners, and mentors at all stages of their journey. The only money coming into the system is from brands looking to build awareness of their technologies and related products, in an organic, laid-back way.
