Hi 👋 Excited to bring you my first ever product, Tibah - your companion on the journey to self-improvement, because we do not get the life we want by accident, but by design. Ready to take responsibility for creating a life you want to live? Then Tibah is for you! I built Tibah to help people better understand themselves, recognise their behavioural patterns, and seamlessly integrate (new) daily habits with long-term goals. Through yearly deep dives, daily reflections and regular check-ins, Tibah ensures you never lose sight of what truly matters. 👉 Deep Dive with Yearly Reflections: Understand what worked (and what didn't) in the past year and set meaningful goals for the next. 👉 Daily Reflections: Stay aligned with your values and get inspired by your favourite quotes, while keeping your actions focused on your goals. 👉 Regular Check-Ins: Weekly and monthly reflections ensure you're on track and no aspect of life gets overlooked. The app intelligently resurfaces your input at just the right moments, making it simpler than ever to remember & reflect what is really important to you. Customize your reflections effortlessly and think clearly in a distraction-free space. With a clean interface and top-notch encryption, your thoughts and dreams are secure as you embark on this journey of self-improvement. ✔️ Get more productive ✔️ Establish healthy routines ✔️ Improve your wellbeing I think of Tibah as more than an app; it's a journey towards a more intentional, successful and fulfilling life. A journey I want to make as easy as possible for as many people as possible. Can't wait to hear your feedback!

@karenstone123 I've been journaling daily for over a decade, but I find your app intriguing. Can you please tell me about privacy and security of it?
karen steinkühler
Hey @footer of course. Privacy & Security are key aspects to consider with an app like this. Here is my privacy policy: https://tibah.io/privacy_policy And these are the details about the apps security (encryption): How secure is my journal data in your app? Great question! We take your data security super seriously. Tibah is hosted on the bubble.io servers, which use AES-256 encryption. This is the same kind of top-notch security that banks, government agencies or apps like Notion use. Basically, it's like a digital vault that keeps your entries safe and unreadable by anyone else. What exactly is AES-256 encryption? AES-256 encryption is a powerful security method. 'AES' stands for Advanced Encryption Standard, and '256' refers to the key size – that's the part of the encryption that locks and unlocks your data. The larger the key, the tougher it is to crack. With 256-bit keys, the encryption is super strong, making it virtually impossible for anyone to access your data without the correct key. Does your app also protect my data when it's being sent over the internet (to the server)? Absolutely! When your data travels between your device and our servers, it's protected by what's called 'encryption in transit'. We use advanced encryption methods (that is why you see HTTPS and not HTTP in our domain), to make sure no one can sneak a peek at your data as it moves across the web. It’s like having an armored car for your digital information. Can you explain encryption in transit a bit more? Sure thing! Imagine sending a secret letter. Encryption in transit is like putting that letter in a lockbox while it's being delivered. Only you and the intended recipient have the key. This way, even if someone intercepts the box, they can't read the letter. In the digital world, we use complex algorithms to create this 'lockbox' for your data whenever it's sent or received by our app. What can I do to make my journal safe? That's a super question, and I'm glad you asked! The safety of your journal largely depends on the strength of your password. Here's what you can do: 1. Choose a Strong Password: Go for a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters. The more complex, the better. Think of it like creating a unique key to a treasure chest – the more intricate the key, the harder it is for someone else to replicate it. 2. Keep it Unique: Use a password for your journal that you don’t use anywhere else. This way, if one of your other accounts is compromised, your journal stays safe. 3. Guard Your Password: Just like you wouldn’t share the key to a private diary, keep your password to yourself. Even sharing it with close friends or family can increase the risk of your journal’s security being compromised. 4. Update Regularly: Changing your password periodically can be a good habit. It’s like changing the locks now and then for added security.

Congrats on your launch! I was reading the description and comments with a thought of how wonderful it would be to see actual AI-generated visuals (based in the goals) for the Visualisation part. There is some scientific evidence behind regular visualizations of the future, they can be both inspiring and effective. It might be not that easy to incorporate that from the technical part, however what do you think about the idea itself?
karen steinkühler
Hey @alina_smirnova1 Thank you 🙌 I love the idea. I have thought about it before, but more in terms of video. So when you wrote down your visualisation AI would rewrite it as a script for a video and generate that video for you. I find it super helpful to create a short vision movie, that reminds me of my long term goals every day, but it is always a lot of work. So when the tech is a bit better, I think that can be implemented. I have not thought about implementing a feature that generates a vision board though and that is already possible. I'll look further into it, once Tibah is a bit more mature (eg. has a mobile app and reminder for your reflections) 😊
Alina Smirnova
@karenstone123 Thank you! for me personally the possible visualizations of my goals and future (especially with me as a heroine) would be the most selling part, it would add some excitement to daily journaling and planning, but thats just one opinion, so I appreciate you giving it a thought, all the best with your product!
karen steinkühler
@alina_smirnova1 I totally understand. It makes the product feel way more personal and you can already see yourself being there. Thanks for the input! 🙏

karen steinkühler
@al_gordon thank you for the feedback! It is one of the core "mottos" I build Tibah on and I really hope Tibah makes it easier for people to do exactly that.

Wow, Tibah sounds like an incredible tool for personal growth! I love the idea of turning insights into meaningful action. Have you considered integrating any specific goal-setting frameworks or techniques into the app? It could be really helpful for users to have a guided process to follow as they work towards their ideal lives. Great job on this, can't wait to try it out!

💡 Bright idea
Wow, it's a game-changer for intentional living! Love the seamless integration of daily habits with long-term goals. The regular check-ins and thoughtful reflections keep me on track. Will definitely incorporate it into my routine. Quick question: any plans for a mobile app version in the future? Great work, @karenstone123 on Tibah!
karen steinkühler
Hey @shivam_singh63 so happy you like the idea and want to implement it into your routine! I thought I use the launch today to test how people react to the idea (if they like it) and if there are any major changes I need to make. If the product seems desirable, I will definitely keep on working on it and a mobile app would be one of the next steps. For now, the daily Journal is mobile optimised. I have it pinned to my homescreen and use it from there, till there will be a proper app. If that would be an option for you too (for now) check out this link to see how to do it: https://www.howtogeek.com/196087...

Hey @karenstone123 ! Product works well and really love the warm and 'old book page' vibes...feels more real and not just another digital screen! One really small thing I noticed was that while creating a new habit the radio buttons mentioning the frequency are a lil misaligned...I'm sure something you guys can fix in less than 15. Anyways, congratulations on the launch @karenstone123 !
karen steinkühler
Hey @rohan_singhvi1 thanks for testing Tibah. The 'old book page' vibe is exactly what I intended with the color. It took me hours to find the right one, so I am super happy you like it 😊 And the radio buttons are a blog from bubble (what I used to build Tibah). Over time I grew to love them, since they give a little bit of character. But I will reach out to the bubble support and see if they can fix it 😊

Congratulations, @karenstone123! I love the UI/UX. And the different prompts really promote thoughtful journaling. I start and then give up on journaling too often because I'm not sure WHAT I should be journaling ABOUT. Tibah seems to solve that problem for me. Thank you and good luck!
karen steinkühler
Hey @avery_jolly Thank you 🙌 And happy to hear, that you enjoy the journaling prompts and the whole product! I hope the questions generate impactful insight for you.
