Got Too Many Startup Ideas and Don’t Know Where to Start?
I’ve always had a habit of coming up with random startup ideas — whether I'm commuting, working, or about to fall asleep. The issue is, most of those ideas either get lost or sit untouched in a document without structure or momentum. I wanted a faster, simpler way to evaluate these ideas without getting lost in endless research or overthinking .
That is why I built Idea Planner , a free AI-powered tool that helps you turn vague or casual ideas into a basic, structured plan. You just write down your idea in plain language, and the tool outlines what problem it solves, who it might be for, how it could potentially make money, and what challenges you might face. It’s not meant to be perfect or exhaustive, but it’s been incredibly helpful for me in identifying which ideas are worth pursuing — and which aren’t.
There’s no signup, no clutter, just a simple interface built to help people like me who have more ideas than time. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by your own brainstorms or unsure how to take the first step, this tool might help you move forward with clarity.
Try it free at Idea Planner .— I’d love to hear what you think.

@affectionate_code Omg this is so relatable. I’m the exact same way. That’s actually why we started a newsletter called Idea TBD where we drop product ideas, tools, and public experiments every week.
The goal is simple: to spread the joy of building and collaboration. Would love to feature you and Idea Planner in an upcoming issue if you’re up for it.
Also, just tried the tool. Love the concept, super useful. A couple thoughts that might help:
• Some of the output feels incomplete
• When listing idea options, maybe start with a catchy one-liner instead of the name first. Most people will probably want to come up with their own name anyway
@chaosandcoffee Thank you so much — really appreciate the thoughtful feedback! Would love to be featured in Idea TBD, that sounds amazing. Also, great call on starting with a one-liner and improving the completeness — both are on my update list now. Grateful you took the time to check it out!
@affectionate_code Cool. Think we have enough context from you for the feature. We'll let you know once it's out!
