That's why we’re launching Muze, an AI-powered streaming service that learns your tastes and knows what drives you. Like Spotify Run on steroids, Muze can adjust the playlists to automatically match your steps per minute or even heart rate, adding dynamic, personalized soundtracks to any workout. 🎶 How it Works 🎶 1. Download the app on your IPhone (Android coming next year). 2. Teach Muze what you like by connecting it to your (Premium) Spotify App. 3. Regardless of your taste, Muze will find the ultimate bangers–songs with the lyrics and energy to get you going. 4. Turn on BodySync if you’d like the songs to change dynamically based on your running pace or heart rate. 🥳 Our Story 🥳 While lifting weights at a friend’s house, I noticed that his playlist–mainly Metallica–was pushing me harder than my usual mellow Mos Def. Having built my previous company around AI, I’m aware of its power and wondered how cool it would be to use it to build playlists based on the user’s biometrics–heart rate or SPM. It could find better songs than I ever could! As I started interviewing friends I found a far simpler problem: Finding workout music on Spotify kinda sucks. That’s why we’re launching Muze! After partnering with an expert in sports psychology, we’ve trained it on hundreds of thousands of songs to consider lyrics, energy, and much more. You can use it to match your intensity–which has been proven to improve performance–or just let it pick kick ass songs. 🏃‍♀️🏃 Next Steps 🏃‍♀️🏃 Download it and tell us what you think!
