Pay $1 to display your message for 1 minute on our digital billboard. If your message is the last one, it stays here FOREVER. Join thousands sharing their thoughts.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built MinuteText — a weird little experiment where you can send a fullscreen message for $1 that stays up for exactly 1 minute... unless nobody sends after you.
If you’re the last one to speak, your message stays on the site forever.
You can use it to:
- Roast your friends
- Advertise anything
- Share your thoughts
- or anything your mind can think of
Curious what you all think.
Leave a digital legacy!
Thanks for checking it out!
How do you plan to increase the traffic for the project so there will be a bigger interest in using it as a promotional channel (+ you will earn more money)? :)
@busmark_w_nika to increase traffic my main plan is to use social media, as it targets the younger generations which will be more interested in the site anyway. I'm currently in the process of creating short-form content videos that showcase the concept in a fun and engaging way. The plan here is to include real messages from people in these videos to so they have a bit more interest in submitting a message
This is great. I had a similar idea for short films. As usual, I bought the domain (https://shortoftheday.com) but never launched it. You have inspired me to look into this again. Thank you.
Ngl, the idea that your $1 message could live on FOREVER if you're last is kinda genius. Love this twist on digital billboards, props to whoever cooked this up!
I have seen a similar idea of $5 for 5 mins on twitter few months back, the problem is the limitation of the idea and you could make a better designs so users can get few visits on their provided link
@samanvaya_pant When submitting a message you get an email which says when will your message be displayed (in case of a queue), the message "expires" when another one is submitted, so it's like a constant fighting for the spotlight
Such a fun and quirky concept — part social experiment, part digital graffiti wall. MinuteText makes every word feel like it counts. Congrats on the launch 🚀
Really cool idea! I'm super curious about the stats 24 hours after launching! How do you think you will keep engament and having people going back to the website on a long term base?
Thats genius! It reminds me of the Million Dollar Homepage. Just an idea, it would be great to have a leaderboard with the messages that have been there the longest. Congrats!
MinuteText is such a fun and clever concept! A mix of digital graffiti and game theory — love the “last message stays forever” twist. Curious to see how long the final message holds!

Interesting concept. How will you manage content that may be considered hateful or inappropriate?
MinuteText
@lienchueh if I discover hateful comments I will implement a filter system which will detect and remove those comments

I love the concept of turning a $1 message into a potential forever moment — simple idea, but plays so well on curiosity and timing!

Makes messages feel meaningful! Any ‘read-receipt’ or expiry notifications for senders?

@seantiffonnet The plan is via social media, where I include the real messages in the videos giving the audience more reason to submit messages
