Well, when I moved to another country (UK) I felt super lost. Who were the founders living here? What do they do?
I ended up going to a Google coworking space over there and met some really cool people.
Now, I'm back to my home country, after 8 years abroad, and again, I don't know how are the founders living close to me that I could potentially meet.
That's why I decided to build FoundersAround.com
There are already 46 founders on the map.
I feel that PH founders can make this map explode with markers and motivate people to meet in real life.
Really like the concept of connecting founders in a focused and supportive space. Is there any matching system based on industry or startup stage to make the networking even more meaningful?
You really choose the right platform, let's see how much it gets popularity from this. In my opinion, this is quite a useful tool for all product founders and even investors.
Hey Leo! It’s super cool. Knowing where builders are located shows political and economic strategies behind. I’m really impressed by that data! Wish you all the best
People often say your first step toward entrepreneurship starts at home, then in your community. I'm 18 this year, and believe me — I've tried to take that step many times. But coming from a small town in Bangladesh, it's tough. And if you're trying to do anything related to tech, it's almost impossible.
I've built websites in the past, and the best feedback I got was just "good". Most people around me don’t really understand or care about these things. As an introvert, I’ve always avoided social media, and even if I tried, becoming part of an international community would still be a challenge.
This product has more potential than just being a map. I really hope it lives up to what it could truly become.
So cool, it will be easy to track the nearby founders and network properly with them....had something similar in mind some time ago but not about founders.
Moving countries and losing touch with the local founder scene is such a real problem - even just normal mates tbh - 46 founders already on the map is a solid start :)) quite excited to see this community grow
Congrats on the launch! 🚀 FoundersAround sounds like such a simple yet powerful idea—exactly what remote and relocating founders need. Love that it's already growing with 46 markers! Can't wait to see this map fill up and spark real-world connections. Cheers from Indonesia! 🌍
As someone who's looking for cofounders even in a city like new york it's really difficult. This will help make things so much simpler. Looking forward to trying it out.

So cool! Whenever I plan any trip, I can connect with founders and have a meetup with them! :) Thank you for this! :)

@busmark_w_nika Yes, let's bring more founders onboard and make this map crowded
minimalist phone: creating folders
@leonagano How did you onboard those people before? Or are they solely from Product Hunt?
FoundersAround
@busmark_w_nika I manually outreached them.

I’m not sure if this is by design or a bug. If it’s by design, I’m really shocked

It would be very nice if there was a social login. Sign in with say LinkedIn and it borrows the authentication (real person verified)

@mubashirullahd why not, why not. Good idea. Let's see if the website gets traction and will add that
