Figma rings the bell
Launch to IPO

gm legends, happy Friday.

Here’s today’s lineup: AlphaEarth gives you a live planet view with embedded signals; Spokenly captures your voice anywhere on your Mac while keeping processing local or on your own keys; LightLayer turns spoken feedback into code review comments; and the Figma IPO got us wondering, whose next?

P.S. Building something new? Tell us about it → editorial@producthunt.co 🫶

Planet in a Pixel

AlphaEarth Foundations turns piles of raw satellite, radar, climate and elevation data into a single living view of Earth. It squeezes all that noise into dense 10-meter embeddings you can query in Google Earth Engine, lets you see vegetation, water, infrastructure and subtle shifts over time, and works through cloud cover so you stop waiting on clean imagery.

🔥 Our Take: For anyone who has spent late nights digging through stale satellite snapshots or obsessing over tiny land changes in Google Earth, this is the coolest launch in a decade. It feels like having a satellite without  the price tag.

Figma Rings the Bell

ICYMI: Figma IPO’d yesterday to a ton of fanfare. If you didn’t know, they originally launched on Product Hunt way back in 2015, a literal decade ago (now we feel old) that got us, and some members of the community curious, what other products that have IPO’d started life off as a humble Product Hunt launch?

So far, eight that we know of, including, Robinhood, Hims, Slack, Coinbase, and some others. Now the big question is, which product that felt the glory of the leaderboard will IPO next?

Voice, On Your Terms

Spokenly is the new kid in the voice AI rush. Hit a hotkey, speak, and cleaned-up text lands in whatever app you’re in. Everything can stay local or you can plug in your own API keys. You can even trigger basic system actions without touching the keyboard.

🔥 Our Take: Aqua and Wispr Flow pushed voice past novelty. Spokenly shows up with a different trade-off: control instead of handing everything over. It could be worth watching which wins, easy convenience or keeping your data close.

Say It, Ship It

LightLayer turns spoken feedback into code review comments. Highlight code, speak what’s wrong or what you want clarified, and it drafts a clear, contextual comment with links so you don’t have to hunt for wording or dig through files. Review feels like talking to a teammate instead of leaving buried notes.

🔥 Our Take: Anything promising to kill code review backlogs gets every dev’s attention. Skipping the manual review process and just having an AI tell you what’s going on is powerful. That being said, I can’t stop laughing at the image of a developer crying at their screen while the AI continues to hallucinate a PR summary.
