GPT-5: Not the AGI Messiah, but still pretty impressive
... Describe your dream web app in plain English layout, colors, features, and within seconds you get a live Canvas prototype: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, hosting , and an interactive front-and back-end demo. What once required copy-pasting snippets and manual setup now springs from a single prompt, letting anyone prototype full-stack web apps in minutes. This is getting the bulk of attention online , with vibe-coders spinning up apps like it's child's play. I even ... ... like button. Benchmarks, benchmarks, benchmarks Benchmarks should always be taken with a grain of salt . They are effectively a snapshot of a models capabilities under near perfect conditions. We built a Vision Pro eye-gaze arcade—with AI as a true copilot
... headset-anchored HUD and a custom gravity solver for smooth, readable motion. Why this is relevant to OpenAI folks We treated AI as a full-stack teammate not just for code hints: Prototyping & engine glue: AI-assisted Swift/RealityKit snippets (head-locked HUD, starfield batching, pooled SFX, laser system), then hand-tuned. Design ops: fast iterations on UI comps, iconography, infographics, and store artwork; copy passes for App Store, TestFlight, and outreach. Go-to-market checklists: submission flows, feature nominations ...

Hailey Quach - I Revolted Against “Vibe Coding” — Until I Realized I’d Been Doing It All Along
... sounded like a bad joke. Coding by vibe? What does that even mean light some incense, play lo-fi beats, and let the code write itself? In my mind, AI coding assistants were meant to assist me (suggest a snippet here, autocomplete a line there), not replace the real work. The idea of surrendering the driver s seat to an AI felt like an affront to my hard-earned coding skills. I ll admit it: I was revolted ...

... Product Hunt! I m excited to share PeekNote a tiny, always-on-top note app for macOS designed for developers, creators, and anyone who works with text or code snippets. What's in your dock?
... discover some new products I hadn't seen before. I'm also just a big fan of desktop apps over web apps. I find it a lot easier to stay focused when I'm flipping between apps vs flipping between tabs. These are the apps in my dock: @Google Chrome - Pretty basic. I've really been considering switching over to @Horse though. @Slack - The de facto option. @Superhuman - Maybe the fastest I've become a fan of a product ... ... steve beyatte(@steveb): @jakecrump  All of this fancy tech and we're out here using overpowered text files for our todos. I'm the Product Hunt CEO - tell me your tagline and I'll fix it for you :)
... building AI-powered Intercom that doesn't have a human backend. Maybe: "Set up AI intercom on your website in 3 minutes" Or "Automated sales chatbot for your website" The real questions is how does this stand out vs other chatbots (e.g. Intercom). Comment from Rajiv Ayyangar(@rajiv_ayyangar): @imtiyazmohammed This is a well-worn category, and this tagline isn't answering the "yeah, but is it good?" question for me. I'm not sure what "smart content curation" means ... ... thanks for your kind response. Comment from Obie Akpachiogu(@obie_akpachiogu1): @nuellaugochi Thank you. Will review. What is missing in the educational UI/UX market? 🤔
... confident here. I know that I can write good articles, use SEO, and all that. The question is: what for? Would an interactive custom-written platform that has all possible topics related to design (and even code snippets) be a good thing? People previously advised me to start small, and I did, and I got some results (revenue), but these are general books and there are a lot of other equivalents. Do you have any ideas in mind that might ...
