Fieldy Hands On Review: Can this AI Wearable help my ADHD brain remember tasks and save my marriage?
... first impression of the actual device was that the plastic finish felt a little underwhelming, especially if you re used to the polish of Apple or Nothing devices. This made me want to hide the device vs show it off. That s really the only complaint. The weight and comfort is fine and it was actually light enough that I often forgot that I was wearing it. Aside from the plastic casing, the status light shines through ... ... actionables (like this review!), it truly did add to my life. It also didn t hallucinate, like at all. So while the context focus could be better, the details and information it provided was pleasantly accurate. Comparisons & Alternatives

Intergiro lost their license — what reliable fintech alternatives are you moving to?
... serious AML compliance issues has thrown many businesses into uncertainty. Companies depending on Intergiro now face frozen accounts, blocked payments, and disrupted fintech integrations. I ve been following discussions and noticed many businesses are actively switching or exploring fintech alternatives. Here s a quick list of reliable providers mentioned frequently: @Wise Great for international transfers, transparent fees, reliable compliance. @Spendbase Quick onboarding, strong compliance record, forever-free virtual cards, and they offer immediate migration support. @revolut Business Widely trusted, seamless ...

This is how we're surviving against funded competitors for our vibe coding platform.
... build mobile apps. Soon hitting 50 new signups daily. All these signups came with massive LLM costs. Starting with just ~$4K, we burned through 30% of our budget in the first week with only $260 MRR. Our well-funded competitors offered 5 free code gen requests daily (30/month), while we provided just 1 request/user lifetime. Talked to users, they wanted to explore platform for free but even with our minimal free tier, costs were eating up our savings. Traffic kept ... ... blogs. We approached VCs but got no replies. We pivoted to a paid-only model after burning 60% of our funds. Still getting ~50 daily signups from our @daily.dev blog, but users expected the same free plans as competitors

Skype closed down - here are top 6 Skype alternatives for international calls
... life disappeared. It felt the same way as if, one day, nobody would be playing on Call of Duty 2 servers anymore (that hasn t happened yet, right?). Anyway, here I ve compiled a list of the top 6 alternatives to Skype for international calling. I used the following criteria to select them: VoIP-based . That means I only need an internet connection to use the service. Calls from most SIMs abroad are prohibitively expensive, and eSIMs typically include only ... ... analytics dashboard. That s a helpful feature if you have a lot of no-answer calls and you want to analyze what s going wrong. Best for: individuals and teams who want a simple, powerful, and flexible alternative

Cal Vs Calendly
... liked the ui that the "meeting requester" got to see. 3. it seems less corporate or something :) thanks for the thoughtful replies all. Comment from Matt Carroll(@catt_marroll): also just realized cal is totally free for my usecase, vs 10/mo on calendly to support multiple calendars. seems like basically a no brainer.. Comment from Ajay Sahoo(@ajay27324): Cal offers more value in its base plan (advanced customization and features as used by technical users) and Calendly is cheaper initially ...

Claude 3.5 vs. Claude 3.7: Fresh Test
... insights into these trade-offs. Let s discuss! Comment from Cole Stark(@cole_at_quadratic): We added it to our AI-powered spreadsheet, and the results are insane! See here Comment from Christian Safka(@christian_safka): From testing 3.7 vs 3.5 in Cursor Agent, I've found it's a lot better at estimating when it has enough context to implement or it needs to go check more files first. Looking forward to trying it some more Comment from Luke ... ... actually performed better in one key area. While 3.7 is more advanced in many ways, I've found it to be too docile - it rarely pushes back on questionable requests. Claude 3.5, on the other hand, would often suggest alternative

Bolt vs. Lovable?
... your points. Lovable shines in design and UX, while Bolt offers more flexibility on the technical side. But one ongoing challenge with both is balancing speed with full control over the final code. If someone is looking for an alternative that provides more control over the codebase without sacrificing speed, it s also worth checking out co.dev . It natively supports Next.js + Prisma , generating code you can actually reuse instead of being fully locked into the tool s ecosystem. Curious ...

Have you ever thought of asking competitors (on launch day) to change their launch dates?
... think about it for sure!! Comment from Daniel Zaitzow(@dzaitzow): @arthur40 how did you go about asking? Comment from JenniferGreer(@minkome1970): Haha, that's quite a bold move! I don't think many would try that. Competitors usually stick to their plans. Maybe a casual chat over coffee, but seriously, it s more about focusing on making your own launch stand out rather than asking others to reschedule. Competition is part of the game ...

Speakers: Fav. speaking platforms that charge % per sales vs. recurring subscription fees?
... host live, recurring speaking series or even one-off sessions. A must-have preference is the option to receive payment for "ticket" sales / attendance. A nice-to-have preference is for the platform charge a % of ticket sales vs. a subscription fee. Example: I think Lu.ma provides both, but I am not entirely sure due to the wording on their pricing page: https://lu.ma/pricing Calendly (standard), but it's subscription-based: https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-... Not interested in "virtual conference ...
