Building multiple products while keeping my day job. Here's my honest take.
... automated everything I can automate in my work. Tasks that used to take hours during the day now just require running a script. That freed-up time goes straight into side projects. I'm trying to completely bootstrap everything. Honestly? I want the freedom to quit whenever I get bored. Taking investment means accountability to other people, and I'm not ready for that pressure. I haven't launched any products yet, so there's no income from them ...

My hypotheses for FoundersAround failed. What would you do next?
... individual founders only, or mix in companies? How would you grow the base of active, visible profiles? Any clever growth suggestions or outreach strategies you ve seen work in niche founder communities? Would love to hear your brutally honest feedback. I want to make this map something founders must be on. Comment from Charlie Charles(@charliee1122): Self-promotion works if you make it feel like a badge of credibility. Framing being on the map as a way to show openness ... ... collaboration might encourage more signups. Comment from Seth Monk(@sethmonk): I think it's hard to make any concrete statements about founders as a whole. Everyone is so different, personality-wise, industry-wise, location and personal bandwidth. I would honestly

Thinking of Starting a SaaS Affiliate Program. Any Lessons to Share Before I Dive In?
... evaluating platforms? For anyone who shut a program down, what pushed you to pull the plug? I would like to avoid build-it-and-they-won t-come syndrome and budget realistically for both partner recruitment and ongoing support. Honest war stories are more useful than polished case studies, so please share the gritty details commission numbers, churn headaches, fraud issues, whatever. I will round up the best insights into a follow-up post so everyone here benefits. Thanks ... ... role. Sounds like you have a perfect moment right now to give it another shot. Hailey Quach - I Revolted Against “Vibe Coding” — Until I Realized I’d Been Doing It All Along
... Plenty of seasoned programmers on Twitter (X) feed were rolling their eyes at the buzzword. The conventional wisdom in software engineering says good code requires careful thought and skill, not just going with the flow. I had spent years honing the craft learning algorithms, writing unit tests, agonizing over naming variables so the suggestion that one could simply give in to the vibes and let AI handle the heavy lifting felt almost insulting. If vibe coding was going ... ... latching onto the term with almost meme-like enthusiasm (half serious, half tongue-in-cheek). After my initial revolt, though, I took a step back. Was I letting the silly name ( vibe coding does sound absurd, let s be honest

Which platform do you consider trustworthy when reading product reviews?
... mattopmistro): I do my best to just evaluate on my own without relying on reviews. Look at their website, look at the LinkedIn profiles of the founders, see how 'legit' they are across social media platforms, & look up competitors to do side by side. My first job was at Gartner on the high-tech team, so I kind of put those lenses back on. Usually those steps do the trick to gut-check if it's worth investing time ... ... just reviewing products or an actual practitioner? I eliminate the first category and only lean on the second. But the thing is: it's evaluating the totality of everything I mentioned. Their website, their linkedIn, their socials, their competitors

It Broke
... WebVisor went down about two weeks ago. If your site had more than 5,000 events, chances are the app didn t work properly. Timeouts. Broken charts. Data just missing. That s on me. I honestly wasn t expecting so many users to sign up so quickly, and I definitely didn t expect sites to be logging that much data right out the gate. Within the first two weeks, we tracked over 1.5 million events. Which is amazing ... ... also completely broke the system. At first, I pushed some temporary fixes just to get things limping again. But they weren t great - most people couldn t access full data ranges, the platform was super limited, and honestly

Introducing Ambassadors: For Makers, By Makers
... When I first launched on Product Hunt, I had no idea what to expect. I wasn t sure anyone would notice our little startup, and honestly, I felt intimidated. Everyone seemed so established, and I didn t know where I fit in. But then something incredible happened. A kind comment from @aaronoleary . Encouragement from the PH community. Support from the Product Hunt team when we ran into issues. A hunt from @benln . A thoughtful reply from @rajiv_ayyangar himself. That ... ... Ambassador! It s a small group of Makers who get it and are here to give back. We re here to help you feel less alone. To cheer you on. To answer questions, review launch plans, or just give honest

How do you really know if you have product-market fit?
... Been diving deep into PMF lately and honestly... I'm more confused than when I started. Everyone talks about "you'll know when you have it" but what does that actually mean? Is it when users can't live without your product? When growth becomes effortless? When your support inbox explodes with love letters? I'm seeing conflicting signals everywhere: - Some users absolutely love what we're building, others are lukewarm - Growth is happening but not the hockey stick everyone ... ... next experiment to get there?" For those who've been through this dance: What were the actual signals that made you stop questioning? And more importantly, how many false alarms did you have along the way? Still learning and honestly

Targeted leads from leadsblue.com
... everyone, I'm Luther Johnson the maker of LeadsBlue. To be honest, I built this out of pure frustration. I was running a small sales team and was just sick of our CRM being filled with junk data. We were wasting so much time on contacts that were just plain wrong, and our email bounce rate was embarrassing. The existing tools were either way too expensive for a small team, overly complicated, or the data quality was a total coin ... ... anyone who's tired of the data-digging grind and just wants to talk to the right people.
