Work ethic: Do you think a 4-day work week will bring efficiency?
... just read that Poland wants to launch a pilot project of a 4-day work week from January 2026 (although a 4-hour work week would sound better). I want to ask if any of you in your company have tried this concept of a shorter work week, and how it has affected the results of your employees and the company? In my country (Slovakia), most of the time we have 5 days

5 Things I’d Do Again for a Strong Product Hunt Launch
... product in closed beta, we did surprisingly well in our debut on Product Hunt. I ve already written about our full launch-day tactics (see previous forum post ), but some founders reached out asking: What specifically worked for Product Hunt? Here are the 5 biggest things I will repeat as we plan a future open beta launch. I hope it helps you too! Start Launch Planning Early Start months before launch. I spent time connecting with other founders and regularly ... ... after launch. Focused on contributing insights - never just dropping links. In fact, if you drop a link, it'll likely get moderated so make sure to read the community guidelines or you'll burn a post! Started 14 days

What is the most underrated growth hack for Product Hunt launch day?
... shortcuts to success, only well-thought-out and applied tactics. What marketing tactics for a successful product hunt launch have worked for you or grabbed your attention immediately? Here are a few I ve noticed: Live-streaming on launch day via X and YouTube. Getting hunted by an internal PH team member e.g., Rajiv hunted quite a few. Inviting as many makers with large followings to your team as possible. I am pretty sure you also have ... ... that were remarkable. Feel free to share them. Comment from Purvam Joshi(@purvamjoshi): we launched on product hunt today! and one thing i did is... i followed all the launches for 7 days

We Got into YC, Got Kicked Out, and Fought Our Way Back
... Accidentally Scheduled, Barely Ready I got the YC interview invite while movers were packing my apartment. I was so excited I immediately called my co-founders, Saurav and Ali . While clicking around, I accidentally scheduled our interview for two days later. We were completely unprepared. We split up fast. Saurav worked on the demo. Ali and I walked around London rehearsing our answers, especially the one YC always asks: What are you building? Also, I had made a bet with ... ... watched for years. We pitched. The interview lasted 10 minutes. They told us we d hear back. That night, nothing. I messaged the team, joking maybe they were just being polite because it was late in London. The next day

What’s the best day to launch on Product Hunt?
... most common questions I get from founders is: Which day should we launch? As if the entire success of the launch depends on the calendar. And truth is : it kind of does. Here s what I ve seen from dozens of launches (ours and others): Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Highest traffic, but also highest competition . Big players like OpenAI, Google, Perplexity tend to drop updates then. You ll get more eyeballs, but you ll fight harder for them. Monday & Friday ... ... Still strong days

Maker’s Corner: Hitting 4th Product of the Day as a Indie Hacker with NO audience
... this your first product? If not, what else have you built, or are currently working on? This is my second product. I realized the need to build YoinkUI while building my first product actually. It was a competitor marketing analysis tool, but I abandoned the project. What s your secret weapon or go-to when you get stuck while building? Going for a walk or taking a shower always helps me clear my mind and oftentimes the solution comes ... ... product so I launched within a few hours notice. It hasn t even been a month yet and I ve gotten 1000 users. My reddit launch post went viral getting 200k views. I placed 4th product of the day

How do you keep momentum after launch day?
... community! I m in the middle of prepping my first launch here, and while I m learning a lot about launch day itself, I keep thinking about what happens next. For those of you who ve launched before: How did you keep the energy going once the launch hype died down? Any tips on turning that first wave of attention into something sustainable, whether that s feedback loops, community building, or early growth? Would love to hear what worked ... ... didn t) for you. I feel like a lot of builders focus so much on day

How Product of the Day/Week/Month are chosen
... from the @Product Hunt community team here! I was chatting with a Maker recently, and they were a bit unclear on how Product of the Day/Week were chosen, and honestly, I needed a bit of clarity too These awards are really important to many Hunters and Makers, so there was definitely a need for some 'official' public documentation on how they're chosen, that way people can have more transparency and know what to strive for. 🚀 Launching KeyVid AI – On the lookout for the right hunter or advice really.
... community I m Gabe, product designer and founder of KeyVid AI. After days of building, scrapping, rethinking, rebuilding, and doubting everything and myself in between I m thrilled (and slightly nervous) to share that KeyVid is now live and it s officially entering its pre-launch phase . KeyVid AI is a tool built for a simple but painful problem: sitting through endless video content just to find the few moments that actually matter. Whether it's webinars, meetings, lectures ... ... know how tight-knit and collaborative this community can be. I'm currently on the lookout for a Hunter who can help push this vision and would be open to helping launch KeyVid on Product Hunt in the coming days/weeks

How Jolt AI launched
... Jolt AI launched on Product Hunt last January among the best developer tools launched in 2025 in my opinion. The product got featured, ranked #3 Product of the Day, and #3 Developer Tool of the Week. This post details the launch plan step by step. We started by working on the required inputs: Product name : 40 characters max Product tagline : 60 characters max Description : 260 characters max Thumbnail : recommended size = 240*240px, maximum size = 2MB Image gallery : optimized size ... ... most important part of a launch? brainstorming multiple options, balancing simplicity and accuracy. We opted out for this option: AI assistant for 100k to multi-million line codebases We decided to launch on a Thursday to maximize exposure. Launch day

AI is everywhere...what’s one thing it still can’t do right?
... work with startup teams and use AI tools almost every day for writing, research, support, and more. It saves a lot of time, no doubt. But there are still things AI just can t do well. For example, when reading customer feedback, AI often misses the real meaning behind the words, like when someone sounds polite but is actually unhappy. Or when making product decisions, AI can list pros and cons, but it doesn t really understand the bigger picture ... ... seem small, but they make a big difference in how startups grow and build trust. Little gaps, big impact. So I m curious: What s one thing you still can t trust AI to do in your startup or day
