Warp Preview now creates and tracks task lists for complex workflows
... www.youtube.com/watch?v=bu7XDZaAUoE You can view active tasks in the chip/popup at the bottom right. @bholmesdev is looking for feedback! Download Warp or join the Warp Preview program here . Comment from Csaba Kissi(@csaba_kissi): Excellent news! I'm going to download the preview version and try it. I've seen something like this in Windsurf, but the list is not accessible because it's hidden in some strange folder. I don't like that. Warp's approach seems ...

I chose building over begging for jobs — here’s my story.
... that combines real stylists and AI to help people with one of the most overlooked but mentally exhausting parts of their day: What should I wear? It s a question that drains decision-making energy, creates stress, and quietly chips away at confidence every single day. I want to fix that. So I did the only thing that made sense to me: I took the first idea that felt real and just started building. No waiting. No permission. No validation ...

Meta creates own chips because of AI. What consequences could this have for us, regular users?
... Yesterday I read an article in Reuters that Mark Zuckerberg is investing billions in developing his chips to reduce his dependence on NVIDIA. Microsoft, OpenAI, and Google want to make them too. I might see lower costs for the company, its dependency on another supplier, and performance. How might this be reflected in the end user? (Us?) Do you have any additional information? Comment from Yashar(@yashara): All of those companies will have to build chips

Will Deepseek REALLY shake the AI market? (Any views??)
... week of its release. Now, we all see new AI models heading up, but Deepseek is what most of us didn t see coming. Instead, I am intrigued by its cost-efficient model, which is shaped using reduced-capability chips compared to its predecessors, Chat GPT and Gemini. Within a week of its launch, this Chinese app has become the most downloaded free app in the US. While OpenAI s GPT-4 incurred a training cost of $600M DeepSeek ...

What are some of the best 4U server models for high-performance computing?
... love to hear your thoughts on the following: 1. Which 4U server models have the best performance for handling heavy workloads? o I m particularly looking for servers with powerful processors (think Xeon, EPYC, or ARM-based chips) and ample memory capacity. 2. How important is GPU integration for HPC on 4U servers? o Would love to know if integrating multiple GPUs makes a noticeable difference in performance and which models support this well. 3. What s your experience with ... ... cooling and power efficiency of 4U servers for long-term use in HPC? o Since HPC workloads can be resource-intensive, efficient cooling and power management are crucial. Any recommendations for systems with these features? 4. Budget-friendly options vs
