Parth Ahir

I chose building over begging for jobs — here’s my story.

I recently graduated in Computer Science from Penn State and interned with Boeing while I was still there. But here’s the truth:

I never wanted a job.

Not because I thought I was too good for one — but because deep down, I knew I’d be wasting my time chasing something that didn’t align with who I am. While everyone around me was applying to 500+ jobs a week (it wasn’t a great hiring season), I couldn’t do it. Not once.

I come from India.
And after living between two completely different worlds — India and the U.S. — I’ve realized my real strength isn’t just in tech. It’s in understanding people.

Not just what they do, but why they do it.
Their psychology. Their insecurities. Their confidence triggers.
What overwhelms them. What makes them feel seen.

I see the world from a bird’s-eye view — and people from a deeply emotional one.

Tech is my tool. Fashion is the problem I’m obsessed with.

I’m building a platform that combines real stylists and AI to help people with one of the most overlooked but mentally exhausting parts of their day:

“What should I wear?”

It’s a question that drains decision-making energy, creates stress, and quietly chips away at confidence — every single day.

I want to fix that.

So I did the only thing that made sense to me:
I took the first idea that felt real — and just started building.
No waiting. No permission. No validation panels.
Just product, purpose, and conviction.

Rent? Covered it with maxed-out credit cards.
Food? Same.
Sanity? Hanging on.
But the fire’s bigger than the fear.

It takes an irrational kind of belief to bet everything on yourself when nothing is guaranteed — but I believe in what I’m building. And I believe it can change lives.

I’m a little late to the Product Hunt game — but I’m here now.

If you’ve ever felt the same pull to build something that actually matters, let’s connect.
Let’s ride this wave together 🌊
