I’ve built and led Machine Learning and Data Science teams at companies like Careem (acq. by Uber) and OLX (Naspers/Prosus). I've also started ventures focused on computer vision and natural language processing. Launching on Product Hunt means getting a large reach. The audience is quite financially capable, so you can quickly validate your hypothesis and product on the international market. So, you need to prepare in advance for the launch. Let's get into the details to consider everything. Objective You need to collect at least 1000+ upvotes to take the product of the day. It's possible to get fewer votes, but it's riskier. A pair of 200-300 votes is enough. Tips If you aim to become the product of the month, post at the beginning of the month. Audience. Real people with their peculiarities upvote, so you need to know exactly who will vote for you; Create an audience on PH before the launch via Discussion or through Product Hunt Upcoming Pages; Do not ask those you know, such as your followers, to register on the launch day.
