Everything I Learned Building My Landing Page and Web Application on Bolt.new
Hey p/bolt-new community,
I recently started building Couples Hub (https://coupleshub.io/) a React-based application and Next.js based landing page using Bolt.new. Couples Hub is a product of my hobby brand "MD Meets Techie" which I've run for the past four years, creating digital products specifically for couples. Given my technical background, diving into Bolt.new was kind of a fun experiment (esp given how drab and boring my day job is). I noted several challenges along the way and I thought I'll share a few tips on what I've learned thus far.
AI vs No-Code: Two Very Different Paths to Building Products
I ve been using no-code platforms for a while (like @Webflow , @Framer ) and they re great for visual stuff. But when I wanted to launch something more complex with backend logic, user flows, and integrations I hit a wall.
Recently, I tried an AI-powered tool where I just described my idea in plain text, and it generated a full app: frontend, backend, database, and even deployed it. No joke. It wasn t perfect, but it worked. And the best part? I could access and edit the actual code if I needed to scale or customize it further.
How I Built 3 Apps in a Single Day (Without Going Crazy)
The secret? It wasn t caffeine. It was a complete shift in how I approach building.
I m not a wizard. I m not a 10x developer either. But the other day, I managed to launch 3 fully functional apps in under 24 hours.
