What are some of the worst early stage mistakes you made while building your product?
Mistakes are a great thing to learn from and early stage start-ups experience many of them. Some mistakes can be blessings in disguise. I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts and of course possibly some crazy early startup stories
What are you working on this week? (w/c 5th August)
I'll start... this week I'm focussed on UX improvements to Makers, particularly focussing on updates to the main feed and discovery of discussions ( watch this space)! But what about you? What do you want to get done? What's holding you back? Do you need help or advice? Looking forward to hearing all about your week ahead
How do you like to be managed?
I've read about teams that create user manuals for themselves and must say I love this idea. I like to be managed by given clear goals and fixed deadlines and opportunities to raise blockers. I operate well with autonomy and get demotivated when faced with micro management, and lack of clarity around decisions and motivations. I also prefer direct communications and find passive aggressiveness really distracting and unproductive. I'd love to hear from you - how do you like to be managed?
