My second featured product on ProductHunt - My experience with PH

I might have figured out ProductHunt's requirements to be featured: New accounts launching for the first time Known brands Users with many badges and streaks 4-5 makers in a single product (some accounts can be new) Products that are on par with the trend And for the final ultimate method to always get your product to top 10: Buy upvoting services and comment bots. (Just kidding, don't do that!) ProductHunt is by no means an inferior way of marketing your product, but correct me if I'm wrong, from what I've seen with multiple products, this is what's happening: products get hundreds of votes within minutes of launch, even though the founders or product pages have little to no followers on any of their other platforms and the comments section often contain dodgy bot comments. Even if these products lack any effort towards creating the producthunt page or the app, they'll leverage these services and buy votes when featured to shamelessly plug the vote just to get some sort of validation with that little badge on their homepage. These are my two cents. Some creators and apps out there have really excelled and put in the effort to get many upvotes. Don't let your hopes down if your product wasn't featured on ProductHunt: I started publishing apps 4 months ago. I've published 4 apps, and only two of them have gotten featured on PH (one of them has been acquired and had gained hundreds of users from affiliates after a horrendous PH launch). Unless you're releasing something that would be helpful for SaaS owners or a universal solution, you're better off working with influencers or affiliates for marketing your product. I've really only gotten (few loyal users) LinkedIn requests from ProductHunt promoters and Twitter requests waiting in my inbox for those upvoting services. Let me know what you guys think about this situation. Chartfast.io is out on PH now! https://www.producthunt.com/prod...
