Do you choose to have a specific kind of setup, or do you just work however you like?

In my experience, having a specific kind of setup has been beneficial for my productivity and focus. I prefer to have a designated workspace where I can separate my work from other aspects of my life. I have a comfortable desk and chair, adequate lighting, and all the necessary tools and equipment within reach. Additionally, I like to keep my workspace organized and clutter-free, as it helps me maintain a clear mind and minimizes distractions. I have a system for organizing my files and materials, and I make sure to keep my digital workspace tidy as well. However, I understand that everyone has different preferences and work styles. Some people thrive in a more flexible environment and can work effectively from different locations or adapt to different setups. It's really important to find what works best for you and experiment with different approaches until you discover your ideal setup. What about you? What does “thinking well” mean to you? And what helps you think well?

A few years ago, I found myself hunched over on my living room floor, with my head between my hands, crying out I can t think. I was so overwhelmed. My health was out of control, my business was failing, my friendships were non-existent, and worst of all, I felt helpless because I couldn t think straight. Since then I ve lost 120 pounds, raised $5M for my startup, attracted beautiful friendships, and have built my dream home. And it really came down to taking control of how I think.
