So I am kind of new to PH and have been looking at the product launches almost daily. I am really surprised to see the number of launches that happen each day, around 150+ daily. Am I correct if I say that this number has increased after rise in AI tools for coding , or was this number the same few years back?

I was recently working on a project where we got a lead that the customer is almost ready to buy our product. He replied to our mail, subscribed to our newsletter, and also showed great response on the demo product. When we discussed about the pricing on the next call, he started showing negative signals and eventually didn't go ahead to buy our product.
1. Did any of you guys face similar situations especially with overly convincing leads and then faced failure?
2. How do I even decide whether the lead is actually worth chasing??
