We shared out our launch with user community on Thursday and saw a ton of support come in. Unfortunately, it seems many of them were first time product hunt users, so they were supporting us with brand new accounts. We ended up with the most upvotes of the day by a pretty significant margin (~200) but placed 3rd. I know PH is hush hush about the algorithm but I'm sure I read somewhere or another that "older" accounts get more heavily factored into the upvoting algorithm. Wondering if anyone else in the community has insights here?

PH and its community is great but everytime we attempt to launch, we get so much scam from the internet including a lot of people claiming to sell PH upvotes This is against PH rules but it makes one wonder if they can do what they claim.
