I am genuinely curious to understand how freelancers and full stack developers from early stage startups are dealing with the infra problem. Here are some of the questions and concerns in my mind, in no particular order. Does a PaaS product like Heroku help? If Yes, for how long? Are DevOps consultancies easier? Is it affordable for startups on a shoestring budget? If a startup has credits from a cloud provider such as AWS but finds it difficult to navigate it, how do they tackle this problem? What is the threshold beyond which companies hire DevOps engineers? We're looking to build and launch something in this area super soon, and any insight from hunters will be super helpful!
