WIndurf somehow is not doing anything. What's going wrong?
I started with Windsurf IDE and swapped to Cursor IDE.
I returned to the Windsurf IDE and used some of the default MCPs. I am on the free tier using SWE-1 (lite) and started a brand new project. But somehow, it doesn't matter what I do, it always says "running" or "it's taking longer than expected", but nothing happens at all.
I just wanted to get a feel if it's worth it to come back. I didn't want to insert coins yet, I'm not clear if it would be.
So I made a PRD, SRD and was trying to use sequential thinking.
So, any ideas what it is, or is it normal that the free tier doesn't do anything?
Most social tools feel like they were built for someone else.
My friend and I were running into the same brick wall over and over again: we'd attempt a tool, be excited for about 10 minutes and then it'd be like it was built for another team, another workflow, or honestly, another era.
Some were clunky. Some were too complicated. None of them worked how we needed.
So we set out to build Loopify, something we'd actually want to use ourselves:
Quick. Efficient. Simple. Doesn't get you thinking you require a training program just to book a TikTok.
We are looking for as much user feedback as possible. Talking with teams, individual creators, small brands, anyone who's had to fight through tools just to keep up online.
If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear:
What's your biggest friction point with current tools?
What's one teeny feature you'd love to have but never see?
Or just something you dislike doing that could be simpler?
Seriously appreciate any ideas you pitch our way.
How do you handle AI's limitations when it comes to getting things done?
A while back, I noticed a problem: AI is great at starting tasks but not at finishing them.
It drafts, automates, and processes, but when it comes to real execution? Humans still make the difference.
