Co-Founder & CEO of Depot. We built Depot after being faced with the same challenges time and time again surrounding slow CI builds across all generic providers. I'm originally from Portland, Oregon but relocated to Montpellier, France, in October 2022 to immerse myself in French culture with my family. I've built several projects, from fantasy motorsports to a book I self-published on learning Amazon Web Services by actually using it. This community makes the world turn and I love being apart of it.

Hey everyone! I'm Kyle, one of two founders of Depot. We were recently in the YC W23 batch, and we're both expats living in Europe. Jacob is in and I'm in . Depot builds Docker images up to 20x faster in Continous Integration environments like GitHub Actions, Circle, etc., and for local development as well We're launching Depot here on Product Hunt on May 17th to share what we've been building before, during, and after our YC experience. Fun fact: We started Depot in January 2022 while I was still living in Oregon. We built, launched, applied, and got accepted into YC building a product with a 9-hour time difference between us. But we're happy there is only a 1-hour difference now I've been on Product Hunt for a while now. This is such an incredible community of builders that are constantly iterating on new ideas. So let's chat about anything and everything around YC, building a developer tool company, Docker containers, Kubernetes, DevOps, being expats, and beyond. All questions are fair game here.
