I am an entrepreneur, researcher, and co-founder of CulturePulse and ALAN Analytics. I hold a doctorate from Oxford in Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology. I have published >50 academic papers on cognitive science, social stability, computer simulation, AI, and big-data approaches. Previously, I've used artificial intelligence models and predictive analytics to help shape and inform the COVID healthcare messaging and response. With Cambridge University and other stakeholders, I used MAAI to create policies to mitigate radicalization online and insurgency in conflict zones such as Northern Ireland, The Balkans, South Sudan, and Ukraine.

Asking for a founder: What's the worst reaction you've ever gotten from an investor?
Hey everyone! After listening to Airbnb CEO and Co-Founder Brian Chesky's story about the early struggles and outrageous demands from investors on the "This Week in Startups" podcast, it got me thinking... What was the most challenging experience I've had as a founder? For me, it was when an investor told me that no one would ever use AI assistants in their daily lives - this was just before ChatGPT came into existence, mind you!
