About
As a mother👩 of 👦👧two childrenand creator🧑💻, I built Inkypanda after watching my daughter 👧talk to her stuffed animals about ‘why rainbows disappear.’ Now in beta, this AI pal responds to her building blocks with stories while keeping screens away. I’d love your thoughts: What worries you MOST about AI toys for toddlers? Let’s co-create solutions! Join me!Let's talk about more possibilities of AI enlightenment toys together!😊🤖💗

Can AI Companions Replace Parental Presence?
One night, I worked overtime until 1 AM. Returning home, I saw untouched dishes on the table and found my daughter curled up behind the door, eyelids drooping as she fought sleep. The moment she spotted me, she rushed into my arms and said, "Mommy, you re finally back! I waited so long!" That s when it hit me: Absent parenting is like a blunt knife, slicing mother-daughter moments into fragmented pixels. As an AI developer who s missed precious time with my child, the guilt is crushing.
Would you use technology to fill the companionship gap?
Yes: Better than total absence
No: Artificial comfort hurts more
Kids Using AI to Create Stories Crush Coding-Only Groups by 37% in Creativity Scores!
(Sharing my son s AI-generated Rainbow-Farting Dinosaur Diary from last night) Moms, I finally get it while other kids are grinding code, story-savvy whiz kids are quietly dominating the creativity pyramid! Stanford s latest study proves: Kids using AI for storytelling score 37% higher in creativity than coding-only groups!
While coding kids sweat over syntax, story masters are unlocking brain superpowers via human-AI co-creation:
1 Tri-Brain Activation Training
AI storytelling activates the prefrontal cortex (plot design), hippocampus (character memory), and amygdala (emotional input), while pure coding mainly stimulates logical regions. In Chongqing, 8 elementary students co-created The Adventures of Green Cookie with AI, featuring a sentient egg yolk and a cyborg in a dystopian escape, ending with a plot twist: "The villain falls in love with gardening."
2 Failure Immunity Boost
CodingCat s DeepSeek integration case shows: Story-group kids eagerly explore possibilities (e.g., AI-generated "roast duck reciting Tang poetry"), while 37% of coders develop "AI dependency" refusing to think without AI assistance.
3 Creativity Balancing Act
Research confirms: AI boosts novelty by 10.7% for less creative kids, narrowing skill gaps but reducing group diversity by 10.7%. A Japanese 8-year-old prodigy once cried over LEGO blocks after obsessing over "AI-perfected solutions."
What do you think is Cursor’s most irreplaceable strength?
To be honest, I find Cursor s VS Code experience quite uncomfortable. However, the fact that it runs seamlessly within my codebase is what keeps me from abandoning it.
That said, if Copilot were to offer the same level of integration, I don t think I d continue using Cursor. Copilot is gradually catching up with the features Cursor provides, and it works within IntelliJ, which is a big advantage for me.
