Hey there! I'm Jonathan, and my goal is to help people quickly monetize their expertise 💚 In 2019, I started Kahana with my best friend & 1st-year roommate, Adam. In 2020, I left my consulting job to pursue Kahana full-time. On average, it takes 6.5 months for creators to earn their first dollar online - this is WAY too long, and it breaks my heart. At Kahana, we want to lower the barrier to entry for people to access the benefits of the creator economy. What’s going on with Product Hunt Ship?
I recently started using Product Hunt more, and I started telling my friends about it and getting them on here (I was in love with the building in progress page feature and started my own). But then just last week (on 12/8) I noticed an email went out notifying me that Product Hunt is rethinking Ship and how it interacts with Product Hubs. At this point, I m genuinely just confused about what is even happening right now on PH so I just wanted to start a discussion about it as a point of reference. Please drop thoughts/ any details you know about it in the comments!
