What's the best time to launch on Product Hunt?
I received conflicting info from different sources -- some people/articles say it's a one shot wonder, so the product must be as good as possible before launch (so it's a good idea to have other people use it before launching on PH), while others say launch the MVP and get feedback from the community on PH. We are planning a beta launch on PH, so would love advice/feedback on this.
What a great way to transition from being a developer to marketing?
My 7 years in the workforce has been as a developer, I recently started my startup journey by building out ditData.com As a developer this isn't too hard, but selling the product is - I don't enjoy it. I am lost on how to get my brain to accept the change. I want to be involved in the sales and talking to users, not just writing codes, but the biggest barrier is psychological - I can't concentrate on anything other than coding. Any tip on how to make this transition?
How do you reach out to B2B companies to try your product?
We have a bunch of email leads, we are offering deals on F6S and other communities but we are yet to figure out any acquisition channels that actually works. Would anyone like to impart some of their wisdom?
