Hello, I m Hyun, the VP of Product at Kayhan Space. We re launching Satcat this Tuesday. A free app that lets you track and analyze over 60,000+ satellites with up to 4 years of historical data! It s actually our first public-facing application and we re really proud of its capabilities. We hope it ll be helpful for anyone who is interested in space or already in the space industry. As for the why, I noticed that a lot of data and individual services exist (both free and paid) for tracking satellites but nothing that brings everything together. Also many websites and apps focus on dots on a globe visualizations. Although we have our own 3D visualization the real power comes in each satellites historical data and search-ability.
