About

Hi! I'm Emily - COO of Quickly Hire where we're on a mission to reinvent the modern workforce. We've got a talent pool of skilled freelancers, rigorously vetted and ready to join your team. If you need a developer, copywriter, or any creative or technical talent for 5 hours, 10 hours, or up to 40 hours per week, you're in the right place. I'm passionate about the challenges that come with managing remote, asynchronous teams. It may seem daunting, but it's an operational style I'm all in for. Reach out if you want to chat about it 🙌

What does "Scrappy" mean to you and your business?

Lots of companies describe themselves as "scrappy." But what does that mean? For me, it's a mindset that sees constraints as guiderails, not disadvantages. Tight budget? Small team? Imminent deadline? These constraints aren't roadblocks; they're ramps to innovation. It's about doing more with less - prioritization, agility, and impact. It's not about spreading yourself thin; it s about focusing your efforts laser-sharp where they can make the most difference. At Quickly Hire, for example, we're getting ready to launch a partnership program that rewards partners with cash for referrals they send our way. We know referrals are a major lead source for us, so it makes sense to invest time and resources there. A simple, cost-effective solution with a scrappy spirit that we hope will lead to growth. What are some ways you embrace scrappiness at your company?

Coffee or tea: Which beverage fuels your mornings?

We're having a small discussion in our office about this. The majority is part of the coffee-empire but a small group of tea-rebels is fiercely defending their opinion. What about you?
