I am a tech professional who has intimately witnessed the impact one's early surroundings have on the outcome of an individual's life. From moving from a middle-class suburban neighborhood to an urban public housing unit, I was able to visually see how much one's environment played in an individuals's success. My takeaway: The average person is the product of their environment with the greatest influence coming from the unintentional & unsaid lessons they receive from that environment; & when information, such as career knowledge, is not learned from unintentional, unsaid realities, one needs to intentionally seek to get that insight This is why my Cofounder and I are building a career exploration platform to make it seamless for all students to attain personalized career insights.

Pre-launch stats for Lyrist
Since I'm launching in 12 hours I just wanted to share progress before and after. Lyrist was completely free from April 2018 to February 2023, then I added subscriptions for saving unlimited pages. Without much marketing, Lyrist has acquired: 90 daily active users 30 subscribers $288 monthly recurring revenue
