A while back, a friend and I talked about building a directory product. He asked me to partner, I said I'm interested - but said I d need to wait. Nothing happened for about 8 months.

Now I m almost ready to start building it myself and I ve got a new partner in mind who is a local marketer, which makes sense since the product is focused on a particular country (foreign language). I d build and promote it internationally and he d handle local promotion.

I recently started building a tool for content creators and startup founders who want to stay consistent on Threads. I ve realized how hard it is to promote something when you re just starting and don't have an audience yet. If you don t have a big following or a budget, what worked for you?

• Did you focus on one platform at a time?

• Did you document your process?

• Did you post daily even if no one was watching?

Curious to hear how others approached early stage promotion. Right now I m experimenting with scheduling, batching, and smart tagging to stay organized while posting on Threads consistently but I want to learn what s working for others too.

I'm wondering, does anyone know recent products (from anywhere) that used a simple landing page to validate demand before building?

Maybe we can see them using the Waybackmachine. I want to see what those look like so I can use them to build my own pages.
