I launched my Product on the same day as our top competitor, and I am not sure if it is the right decision. One of the major unspoken thumb rules of Producthunt is to avoid launching when bigger products are launching, making the competition to rank in the #top5 quite difficult to achieve. Just like everyone else, you might be wondering why I took this risky risky decision for my precious little startup. While the whole idea might be counterintuitive, I believe that there s no better time to launch. Our competitor's total number of users is exponentially higher than the total audience we have. And I could never have the right ICP visit PH on a different day. That being said, launching today both products increase our chances of getting the exact ICP to visit our product too. Do you think it is the right decision?
